Nominate Meat for the Kennedy Center Honors
Meat Loaf has given his fans so much joy over the years and The Iconic Meat Loaf is supporting this campaign to give him the recognition he deserves by nominating him for the Kennedy Center Honors. Although it is a US award, fans from all over the world can help the cause by filling in a simple form and sending in their nominations.

Meat to appear at racecourses this summer
Meat Loaf is due to bring his fantastic show to two UK racecourses this summer.
He is due to appear at Newmarket Racecourse on Friday 16th August and tickets are available from newmarketracecourses.co.uk
He is due to appear at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 17th August and tickets are available from racecoursenewbury.co.uk
Manchester show postponed
Meat Loaf’s performance tonight (17th April) at the Manchester Arena has had to be postponed due to medical reasons afflicting several members of the band.
The rescheduled show will take place on Saturday 25th May 2013
Ticketholders are advised to retain their tickets as they will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If for any reason you cannot attend, please contact the point of sale for a refund.
The team at The Iconic Meat Loaf would like to wish those band members affected by the medical reasons, our warmest wishes for a speedy recovery.
Nottingham show postponed
Meat Loaf’s performance tonight (14th April) at the Captial FM Arena in Nottingham has had to be postponed due to medical reasons afflicting several members of the band.
The rescheduled show will take place on Monday 20th May 2013
Ticketholders are advised to retain their tickets as they will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If for any reason you cannot attend, please contact the point of sale from Monday 15 April.

Meat Loaf announces final tour
Meat Loaf has announced that he will be returning to the UK next April with his “Last At Bat” tour to bid a fond farewell to his fans. The tour will begin in Newcastle on 5th April before visiting Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield and Cardiff before moving over to Germany and Europe.
Dates in the USA and Canada are being worked on and will be announced in due course.
Although the tour is billed as a farewell and will be his last tour, Meat still has plenty of work in the pipleine for his fans to look forward to including a new album that he has already begun work on.

Meat designs medical I.D bracelet for charity
Meat Loaf has teamed up with medical ID site HopePaige to create a medical ID bracelet.
The profits from the sale of his design will go to help The Painted Turtle, a charity that Meat is a well known supporter of. The Painted Turtle is a camp which enables children with chronic health conditions, experience the joy of going to camp.

Meat Loaf undergoes surgery
Meat Loaf underwent knee replacement surgery on Monday (19th November).
A photo was posted to his Facebook page with a message thanking fans for all their support and get well messages. The message said that whilst Meat himself wouldn’t be posting for two weeks whilst he begins the recovery process, helpers would post to keep fans updated on his progress.
A few days after his operation, someone referring to themselves as ‘Meat’s Little Helper’ posted that the surgery had gone well and Meat would be starting the rehabilitation process imminantely.

Meat Loaf Announces UK Shows
Meat Loaf has announced his plans to tour the UK in April with a very special show that will include all the songs on his Bat Out Of Hell album in the second act.
He announced his plans on his Facebook page and said that tickets should be on sale before Christmas.
Bat Out of Hell Celebrates 35th Anniversary
The Album Bat Out Of Hell celebrates its 35th Anniversary on 21st October 2012.
Since its release in 1977, the album has sold approximately 43 million copies and is one of the best selling albums of all time.
The Iconic Meat Loaf would like to congratulate Meat Loaf and the album’s composer Jim Stienman for this success and hope that it will continue to bring them success for years to come.
